Remember in college, the century club was 1.5oz shots of beer until you hit 100 of them? Um, Yeah.....good thing I'm making better choices in life now:

50 miles biking (half century), all around Louisville. Even took the time to stop for picturesque moment!

Marathon Training Starts Monday!

- In total, ~500 miles

Took a pit stop on a 40 mile bike ride, on the top of Iriqouis Park.


Yes, that is Downtown Louisville and Churchill Downs in the haze.
Yes, I still have a gut I am working on.
No, I am not that strong, the bike does not weigh that much!

July 1, 2011 - Year in Review

"The only thing constant in life is change" -Heraclitus

About a year ago I told myself "I am going to change my lifestyle..."

Since that time:

  • ~700 miles run
  • 25-30 pounds lost
  • 3 Half marathons completed (including my first sub 2hour!)
  • >200 miles biked (this is within the last few months)
  • Swim - a little bit
And what's next? In the near future soon to be a triathlete (I'll figure out how to complete it, now that I have signed up!)



And in the next year, a minimum of 2 half marathons and my first full marathon in January @ Disney!!!

Anything is possible when you put your mind to it!
